Silver BABY and Gold Ivy Leaf Necklace
An antique gilded hand cut B A B Y letter necklace mounted onto a silver scalloped oval back plate decorated with ivy leaves.
This piece began life as a brooch, possibly given as a gift to a new born in the early 20thC .
We prefer the modern use of the word Baby as a term of endearment between lovers or family and have had this brooch re-purposed. It now hangs from a fine 18" (45cm) silver belcher chain to make a very stylish modern and wearable necklace.
