Gentleman's Sterling Silver Roman Coin Cast Ring

A vintage sterling silver gentleman's ring, cast from a Roman coin and discovered at an antique market in Arezzo Italy.

We have left this piece exactly as we found it, as it perfectly complements the Badger's velvet collection in its original form.

The ring is cast from an authentic coin depicting the Roman emperor Augustus, later known as Divus Augustus.

• Born Gaius Octavius in 63 BCE, he became the adopted son and heir of Julius Caesar, rose to power following Caesar’s assassination, and went on to become the first emperor of Rome, ruling from 27 BCE to 14 CE.
