Georgian Brooch Bracelet
Another very special Badger's Velvet piece of jewellery is this Georgian brooch which we have converted into a bracelet by removing the back pin and adding two 9ct gold chains at either end of the central motif which rejoin at the clasp end.
The central foil backed citrine stone is surrounded by paste (hand-cut glass) diamonds. Paste jewellery became popular in the Georgian period as a cheaper alternative to diamonds.
