Gold Mounted Roman Coin Earrings

An original pair of mismatched Roman coins, each showing the head of a different emperor, have been transformed into earrings by Badgers Velvet. Bought from an antiquities dealer the coins have been encased in 9ct gold with a 14k gold fill back and attached to Roman style 9ct gold wires. 

Each coin is unique and worn as is expected from something that could be up to two thousand years old. 

With wear the patina of age  wear off and more detail may come through, and this adds to the individual nature and intrinsic appeal of these beautiful earrings.
