Antique Bronze Figa and Fine Gold Chain
A beautifully detailed small antique cast bronze Figa charm, recently bought in the Arezzo flea market in Italy, has been hung from an 17"(43cm) 14k gold fill trace chain.
In ancient Rome, the figa sign, or manu fica, was designed to ward off evil spirits.
It is also a rude gesture but we will leave you to find that out for yourselves.
