Antique Bronze Figa Charm and Gold Chain

A beautifully detailed antique cast bronze Figa charm, bought in the Arezzo flea market in Italy, has been hung from a 19"(48cm) 14k gold fill chain.

In ancient Rome, the Figa sign, or manu fica, was designed to ward off evil spirits.

It is also a rude gesture but we will leave you to find that out for yourselves.
