Large Silver and Bronze Etched Ring

Each Badger's Velvet bronze ring is unique.

We purchased a collection of bronze buttons from a dealer in antiquities and are slowly creating one off pieces of jewellery. 

It is hard to date each piece but they are believed to have been made between the early 17th and 18th century used on Spanish military uniforms.

This bronze has been set into a silver bezel and mounted onto a flat 4mm silver band.

The bronze has already started to show through on this one and will continue to do so. The dark patina of age wears off as the ring is worn and exposed to everyday use.
