Badger’s Velvet bronze button rings are truly beautiful and completely unique.
We love the quiet sophistication of this timeless disc, featuring a subtly etched concentric circle design at both its centre and outer edge. This ring is made up of an authentic 17th–18th century bronze button, set within a 9ct gold bezel and mounted on a 14ct gold-filled band.
After acquiring a rare collection of antique bronze buttons from a respected antiquities dealer, each one is being carefully transformed into a piece of handmade gold and silver jewellery. This is one of the last remaining and one of our favourites.
Over time, the natural dark patina of the bronze will gently soften with wear, allowing warmer tones to emerge. The result is an evolving piece that becomes even more individual with age.
While each button cannot be precisely dated, they are believed to originate from the 17th or 18th century—making every ring a wearable piece of history.
